Sunday - health - healing
Dearest grandchldren,
There are several types of healing. We know that skin that is burned or cut can return to normal healthy skin. We know that errors that we have learned can be replaced with truth. We know that individuals divided by distrust can be joined in love. You could probably add several types of healing (and if you post any then I will add them).
Sometimes our division is with ourselves or ourselves and our Heavenly Father. These divisions can be healed too. There is a word reserved for this healing and it is repent. This word has two parts and the second is pent. Pent can mean full (as in pent up feelings), or at the top (penthouse), or inside a safe place (pen). The word is preceeded by that wonderful restorative word re, specifically "again, anew, back".
If trust or confidence has been drained from us then we can be refilled. "He can fill your heart once more with the knowledge that the course you have chosen is the course our Father in Heaven desires for you." (Jeffery R. Holland October 2006 Ensign)
If we have performed below our or Heavenly Father's expectation then we can rise above past performance.
If we have left the family or fold then we can return to the safety and joy within.
