The house and more random stuff
Dearest Grandchildren and friends,
The engineer visited Tuesday and spent three hours in the attic. If I understood correctly then only 1/3 of the roof must come off. Judith (with a little help from me) got the major bedroom and family room furniture into storage (via a storage company). The engineer took up part of the bedroom floor and added a tarp to the roof and the mess (which was not too bad) is better. The "final frontier" will be getting everything out of the garage. As Judith said, "If we have to do all this packing then why not just move?" Not this time, Darling.
Love always, G'pa Bob
